◇Measuring Principle
Electrolyte and permeable membrane separates electrolytic cell and water samples, permeable membrane can be selectively let COL through, there is a fixed potential difference between the sensor and generate electric current intensity can be converted into residual chlorine concentration;
At the cathode: CLO- + 2H+ +2e = CL + H2O
At the anode: CL- + Ag = AgCl + e-
Since in a certain temperature conditions, and p H condition, There exists fixed conversion relationship among HOCL,CLO and residual chlorine. It is use this way to measure the residual chlorine.
