DN150 Seawater Electromagnetic Flow Meter Selection and Quote Analysis
I. Core Parameter Compatibility
Diameter and Pressure
DN150 Diameter: Standard nominal diameter, suitable for seawater pipelines.
Pressure Compatibility:
The customer requested 4 MPa, while the domestic standard pressure is 5 MPa. This fully complies with the standard pressure and provides a safety margin.
If higher pressures (e.g., 10 MPa) are required, a custom high-pressure sensor will be required, with a price increase of approximately 15%-20% (due to material and process upgrades).
Electrode and Lining Materials
Titanium electrodes: Excellent resistance to seawater corrosion, making them the preferred material for seawater measurement. No additional price is required (included in the standard configuration).
Lining Materials:
PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene): Highly corrosion-resistant, suitable for most seawater applications. Standard configuration.
PFA (soluble polytetrafluoroethylene): More resistant to high temperatures and chemical attack. This material may be used if the seawater contains special chemicals. The price increase is approximately 8%-12%. Connection Method
American Standard Flange (150 lb):
National standard flanges are commonly used in China. Switching to American standard flanges requires custom flanges and seals, with a price increase of approximately 10%-15% (due to increased mold and processing costs).
Delivery time may be extended by 3-5 business days.
Power Method
Battery Power:
A low-power converter and lithium battery pack are required, with a price increase of approximately 20%-25% (compared to 220V AC power).
Battery Life: 5-8 years of continuous operation (depending on flow signal frequency).
Advantage: No wiring required, suitable for remote sea areas or mobile measurement scenarios.
